I continue to be concerned with the level of collaboration in our group. As the sole virtual student, I have consistently attempted to host weekly meetings to no avail. When we were able to meet the day before the presentation, we were still at odds on the nature of the "food stamps" proposal, but compromises were made to integrate my ideas. I believe addressing two levels of distribution is feasible to resolve these issues. I still hope that I can encourage them to consider the concept of a "free food" market, sponsored by Co-Op or other suppliers as a more dignified and viable solution. Many food insecure families don't have the freedom of transportation and are subject to potential price markups in smaller local markets.
